TAM is the oldest trainer academy in Germany. We are proud of this title - and yet we are not resting on our laurels. This is where the experience of more than 40 years in trainer training and personnel development meets the modern mindset of the New Work Economy. With the repositioning of TAM in 2016, TAM has gained more than just a new design: Today, the TAM Academy stands for the perfect symbiosis of training development, modern leadership and New Work.

1974

Roland Berger

Roland Berger founds TAM

The idea that an employee is not just a cogwheel in a machine, but part of a living organism was a revolutionary idea in 1974 . Companies need to change in order to keep their finger on the pulse of the times. This is why consulting icon Roland Berger founds the Trainer Akademie München, the first academy to train business trainers.

1985

Helmut Fuchs becomes Partner & Head Coach

The concept is a success. The continuing education market becomes a booming industry. Dr. Helmut Fuchs joins the TAM Academy as a partner and moves the company headquarters to Fulda. To date, TAM counts over 1000 top international trainers among its graduates.

2016

Frederic Lorenz

The generation change

In 2016, the two Berlin start-up entrepreneurs Frederic Fuchs and Lorenz Illing take over the long-established TAM Akademie. The new TAM moves into its office in Berlin Kreuzberg and is expanded to include the agile mindset of the new work economy. From now on, the business trainers bring innovative approaches such as swarm organization, design thinking and modern leadership to companies and are now the agents of digital change.

Now

TAM defines a new management culture

Changeability, i.e. the ability to embrace change, has become a basic requirement for successful and sustainable companies. This has added a new dimension to the demands placed on companies, managers and their employees. Digitalization is changing the world of work - TAM helps companies prepare their employees for this.

The TAM training space in Berlin
You will find our office right in the heart of Berlin Kreuzberg. Our modern loft in Kreuzberg's Bergmannkiez offers a cozy and creative atmosphere that invites you to innovate, learn and feel good. In addition to a large, bright seminar room with high-quality technical equipment, we and our customers have a beautiful garden at our disposal for brainstorming breaks and after-work beers.

From drinks and snacks to fresh fruit - we also offer you the greatest possible comfort in terms of catering during your training at TAM. We not only provide you with the necessary nourishment, but also support the team building of the groups.

Egal, ob in den Trainings oder unter den Mitarbeiter:innen der Akademie - jedes Individuum wird als gleichwertig angesehen und mit all seinen Stärken und Schwächen akzeptiert.
